The Journey

How uskulpt works

Three steps, about 45–60 minutes, and nothing that puts you in a box.

uskulpt doesn’t tell you what to become. It builds an honest, evolving picture from real psychometric answers, then lets you explore at your own pace, across as many directions as you want.

01

Discovery

five short chapters

A real psychometric instrument, not a quiz: your interests (RIASEC), work values, personality, emotional intelligence, skills and self-efficacy, what’s genuinely in your way, and where you stand right now. Every chapter scores itself immediately so you see your own signal build up as you go.

Career Hypothesis

Your answers feed a matching engine that scores all 12 career worlds against your real profile, and none of them is ruled out. You can open any world, not just your top match, and open any career inside it to see what the work actually looks like.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

The seven that come up first, every time.

01What is uskulpt?
A career discovery tool for students in classes 8 to 12 in India. It helps you work out which directions might fit you and what that work is actually like, day to day.
02Do I need to know my career already?
No, and most people your age do not. That is the normal starting point, not a problem to fix before you begin.
03How does career discovery work?
205 short questions across 5 chapters, with no right answers. It reads what genuinely interests you, what you want from work, how you tend to work, how confident you feel, what is standing in your way and how ready you are to decide. You are never shown a percentage match.
04Can uskulpt help me find colleges?
Yes, once you know which careers you would try. Mark one, and the colleges that teach toward its world appear in your Shortlist with their city, fees, NIRF rank and the exams they accept. Fees and cut-offs change every year, so check anything that matters on the college’s own website.
05Is uskulpt free?
Yes, entirely. There is nothing to pay for and no card is ever asked for. Everything you have entered can be deleted by clearing your browser data. Nothing is held anywhere else.
06How does this work for under-18s?
This version has no accounts and no server, so there is no consent step and no email is ever sent. Answers stay in the browser they were typed into. A parent can read every question on the page, and clearing the browser erases everything.
07Is my information safe?
We never receive your data at all. Your answers are written to this browser and never sent, so there is nothing for us to sell, lose or hand over.

You don’t need to know the answer yet.
You need a place to start.
